Location: Northville, MI

Position Summary

This position will function to provide support to the Administration department.

Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

  • Prepare WCSCR (Warranty Cost Share Change Request) packets for Toyota Supplier Warranty Cost Share commodities.
  • Prepare WRPR (Warranty Recovery Parts Requests) for various Warranty Engineers and their key commodities for Toyota Warranty activity.
  • Prepare and maintain tracking sheet for NHTSA Critical Items as needed.
  • Develop Warranty Process procedures and standards.
  • Train team members on Warranty Process Procedures and maintain a training log.
  • Get familiar with AQIMS (AISIN Quality Information Management System).
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience leading Automotive Quality organization.
  • Strong knowledge of business practices and financial controls.

Beneficial Skills And Experience

  • Microsoft Office (including Access) experience.
  • Knowledge of Seven Basic QC Tools.
  • Strong Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving/Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with OEM Warranty Cost Sharing Programs.

Education/Training/Certifications

  • BS/BA required.
