Position Overview
The Business Development / Capture Manager provides Business Development, Capture, Proposal, and growth strategy support for future program development opportunities and can serve in a Business Development role for identifying and qualifying new business. The Capture Manager supports the growth objectives for DoD, FEDCIV and other State, Local and Government entities throughout of the United States and OCONUS. The Business Development / Capture Manager will support day to day activities and processes within the organization's business development and corporate planning functions.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Be a part of the identification, qualification, capture and proposal processes, supporting the growth of the organization.
- Work in partnership with Growth team to develop long-term strategic Business Development / Captures plans, portfolio campaign plans and support capture operations during the growth of the organization. Can be assigned to serve in both Business Developer and Capture Manager for specific opportunities depending upon resource availability.
- Assist in the development of capture strategies for taking business development opportunities that have made it through qualification BDR through proposal submission.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with partners and ensure ongoing satisfaction of the partner organization.
- Support cross-functional Teams for Business Development, Capture and Proposal development.
- Gather and analyze data evaluating new business opportunities or assessing potential markets, to assist executive teams in decision making and planning.
- Work with contract manager to prepare and fully execute non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements with key partners that can increase the organization's probability of win (PWin)
- Participate in and support the proposal manager in developing winning proposals.
- Develop and present Gate Reviews to qualify, validate and assist with bid / no-=bid decisions and demonstrate the potential value of new business opportunities.
- Manage capture operations for opportunities that make it through the Business Development Lifecycle process.
- Collect and analyze competitive intelligence information in support of proposal preparation in response to requests for proposals (RFPs)
