Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and assist with general kitchen cleanliness.
- Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by culinary staff.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and cutting vegetables or other ingredients under the guidance of cooks or chefs.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all safety protocols in the kitchen to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
