Responsibilities
- Directly supervise maintenance staff, including recruiting, training, and developing associates through coaching and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, breakdowns, and parts inventory.
- Communicate and coach production staff on best practices for machine use and safety
- Increase knowledge of all machines, troubleshoot equipment failures, and perform repairs
- Purchase parts within spending authority, dismantle and reassemble machinery, and fabricate structural changes for safety and efficiency
- Perform maintenance on the facility, including plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs or modifications
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of machine maintenance experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Certified forklift operator.
- Skilled in welding
- Proficient in reading and interpreting instructions, specifications, reports, and manuals.
- Capable of performing basic math and taking accurate measurements.
Salary: $85K - $100K
