As a Procurement Manager, internally known as a Strategic Sourcing Manager. You will hold the key to enhancing and streamlining our procurement processes through the development and execution of cutting-edge sourcing strategies. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to unearth cost-saving opportunities, masterful contract negotiations, and the cultivation of robust supplier relationships.
This role is part-time between 24-32 hours per week. We will ask you to confirm your preference in working hours on your application.

Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute visionary sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers, while expertly managing these vital relationships.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to comprehensively understand their unique procurement needs and provide strategic counsel.
- Vigilantly analyse market trends and industry best practices, identifying opportunities to drive cost savings.
- Exercise vigilant oversight of supplier performance, swiftly implementing corrective measures when necessary.
- Maintain a current understanding of industry regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all sourcing endeavors.
- Procurement experience, specifically evidenced experience of strategically sourcing vendors or suppliers
- Displays passion, energy, drive, and agility
- Resilience in achieving ambitious targets under difficult circumstances capitalises on lessons learned and responding positively to setbacks
- Enjoys analysis of complex and sometimes incomplete information to create an easy to communicate solutions
- Sets stretched goals for themselves and their suppliers, prepared to take measured risks to gain a competitive advantage for AJW
