Position Overview: Compliance Associate
The Compliance Associate is responsible for executing scheduled visual inspections of the community to ensure that homeowners are following the requirements regarding maintaining the general appearance of their units and surrounding property as indicated in the Rules and Regulations. Provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of AKAM. Performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of AKAM as it relates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally. Serves as back-up Front Desk Associate.
Schedule: Thursday to Monday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 12 PM-8 PM Holidays.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for all documentation of Association violations - inspections as necessary - understands regulations and rules as provided by Board and Property Manager
- Track violations for completion and documents compliance
- Repeat inspections as necessary within time frame determined for violations compliance
- Primary contact for all non-compliance letters and follow-up to compliance or fine
- Provide PM with all documentation requesting compliance and resolution - For Grievance Committee to make determination if fine is necessary and Board to approve imposing recommended fine.
- Update any Management systems with violations documentation as directed.
- Back up the Front Desk when needed.
- This position interacts as well attends the Grievance Committee Meetings on the monthly basis and speaks on behalf of the Property Manager for status of fining.
- Receives and reviews the ARC applications and delivers report to appropriate committee for approval.
- Will conduct inspections during the project while being done, as well as a final inspection.
- Will monitor and revise property cameras/control system.
Qualifications:
- Building Link software experience
- Knowledgeable of 718. F.S.
- Bilingual English-Spanish.
- Minimum of 1-year administrative experience in residential condominium management is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications skills it's a must.
- Familiar with MS Office Suite programs; specifically, Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Able to respond to emergencies adhering to emergency protocols.
- Able to de-escalate stressful situations in a calm manner.
