About the Position :
One of the major focuses of this position is to provide accurate and on-time payroll to the employees along with ensuring all bonuses, pensions, and taxes are completed in a timely manner. You are required to be detail-orientated, professional, and an agile Payroll Specialist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities :
Use various accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks and Sage to complete the payroll.
Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc.
Ensure that all expenses such as travel, hotels, and other business expenses are processed and paid accordingly, and deducted from the taxation documents.
Ensure all tax deductions are made correctly.
Generate their payslips and either post them to their addresses or upload them onto the staff online portal.
Addressing issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors needed
Requirements :
Demonstrated experience in an accounting or payroll role for at least 2 years.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounts software such as QuickBooks and Sage and any other systems as required
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize own workload
Able to analyze large amounts of data and identify specific trends and patterns
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Great customer service skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounts, Finance, or other related field, or equivalent work experience and education(this will be a bonus).
