Phlebotomist
Location: Jackson, MI 49201
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Every other weekend required, Open to block scheduling but not preferred, 5-8's with one position 4a-12:30p, one position 5a-1:30p, one position 2:30p-11p
Pay rate: $15-17/hr. on w2 with benefits
Weekly expected hours: 40
*Must have at least a year of experience *Phlebotomy Cert strongly preferred * Must have prior experience with LIS (Lab information system) experience *Help with Morning Lab duties *May need to learn specimen receiving, if they don't already have that experience
Job Summary:
Under general supervision and according to specified procedures, performs routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related duties including lab clinical functions.
Required Skills & Experience:
-6 months to one year on the job experience in venipuncture required.
Required Education:
-High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Required Certification & Licensure:
-Must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's license and the ability to be insured by a HFMG Insurance Carrier.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
