Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic by handling administrative tasks and providing excellent customer service to patients.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Utilize electronic health record systems for patient check-in and check-out
- Process medical billing and insurance claims, including medical collection duties
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with health information management tasks
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and clinic operations
- Operate phone systems and computerized equipment efficiently
- Perform 10-key typing for data entry tasks
Experience
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and medical software
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and clinic procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
