Akkodis is seeking an OSP (Outside Processing) Buyer / Expeditor with a client located in Marysville WA . The Expeditor is responsible for expediting assigned purchase orders to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished including document delivery, efficient coordination, inspections, and on-time delivery.
Pay Range : $37 - $44 / hour (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

The Outside Processing (OSP) Buyer / Expeditor plays a key role in selecting suppliers, managing requests for quotes, issuing and expediting orders, and closing out purchase orders. This role involves providing regular status updates to stakeholders, responding to inquiries about OSP status, attending meetings to report on OSP programs, and addressing related questi on
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identify and select both primary and secondary suppliers.
- Complete requests for quotes and negotiate procurement contracts.
- Issue purchase orders and expedite the order process.
- Ensure purchase orders are verified and status is consistently updated.
- Apply best practices to adhere to GTI guidelines regarding price, service, quality, and delivery.
- Process “Return to Vendor” reports and rework Non-Conformance reports.
- Initiate vendor chargebacks and coordinate with various departments to process credit memos.
- Maintain the standard cost for individual buy parts and outside services.
- Address invoice discrepancies promptly.
