The Structures Company is seeking a OSP Buyer in Marysville, WA
- Knowledge of outside finish processes
- ERP experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years' Buyer / purchasing experience is required
- MS Office Excel proficiency is required
- Aerospace experience is preferred but not required
- Open to US Citizens and Green Card holders
Summary
The OSP (Outside Processing) Buyer / Expeditor is responsible for identifying and selecting suppliers, completing requests for quotes, issuing, and expediting orders, closing out purchase orders, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, respond to inquiries regarding OSP status and attend meetings as required to report on OSP programs and address any related questions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and select primary and secondary suppliers.Complete requests for quotes and negotiate procurement contracts.Issue purchase orders and expedite orders.Verify the purchase orders and keep Purchase Order status up to date.Apply best practices to maintain company guidelines regarding price, service, quality, and delivery.Process "Return to Vendor" reports and rework Non-Conformance reports.Initiate vendor chargeback and co-ordinate with various departments to process credit memos.Maintain standard cost of individual buy parts and outside services.Process invoice discrepancies.Other duties as assigned.Competencies

Bachelor's degree preferred along with 2-3 years' experience as a buyer / purchaser or equivalent experience required.Experience working within a QMS system of ISO 9001 and API Q1 an asset.Experience with ERP system required.APICS Certification preferred.Knowledge of ISO, API, ASTM Material Standards preferred.Knowledge of processes such as anodizing, plating, heat treatment process and raw material procurement preferred.Knowledge of machining, special coating & other manufacturing processes preferred.Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company / foreign government / foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
