Akkodis is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer (Quantum) to join our team as a Contract role for a client in Goleta, CA.
Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced RF electronics professional with expertise in testing existing and new designs, working with designers to create test sets, and performing automated testing and reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required. Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance tests on custom analog electronics, including verifying new designs meet performance targets and designing manufacturing tests.
- Work with designers to gather system requirements, build test setups, write scripts to automate testing, and produce reports.
- Develop systems and fixturing for characterization of analog/RF/digital components and systems.
- Generate test plans for internal and external testing of analog/mixed-signal/RF components and assemblies.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in electronic test, including RF and digital FPGA-based systems.
- Strong understanding of electronic characterization techniques relevant to analog, mixed-signal, RF, and digital subsystems.
- Ability to lead electronic test activities, either individually or within a team.
