Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Medical Center IT team. The role involves installing new applications, configuring settings, providing both go-live and ongoing user support, and troubleshooting application issues to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. The successful candidate will also be responsible for analyzing business needs, creating and testing system specifications, and documenting all processes and outcomes to maintain high operational standards within our healthcare infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install new applications, upgrade existing ones, and configure application settings according to user needs.
- Provide application troubleshooting support, resolve issues or escalate them to the correct group or vendor.
- Analyze business / clinical needs and requirements to recommend system improvements or upgrades.
- Create test plans, conduct system testing for new installations, version upgrades, and modifications, and document outcomes.
- Design database queries, create reports, maintain accurate documentation, and provide professional customer support on a rotating 24x7 basis.
