What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wholesale Sales Intern (unpaid) position at Akris?
Position Summary
We are looking for a passionate Wholesale Sales Intern to provide hands on support in the day-to-day activities within the Wholesale department. This position is a great opportunity to attain firsthand knowledge and experience within the luxury fashion industry and is eligible for a school credit.
Job Duties
- Assist in sending and tracking samples to and from accounts for marketing, ad shoots, events and carnet management
- Aid with showroom preparation for market collections to include physical setup, breakdown and organization
- Help to build out product knowledge packets seasonally by account
- Facilitate with market prep/selling analysis
- Assist and be present in showroom during market appointments
- Accompany team with visits and clinics to local Wholesale accounts
- Conduct periodic website checks to ensure live product is featured
Requirements
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel and PPT
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
