What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working Lumber Yard Lead position at AL&M Building Supply?
Locally owned and operated, AL&M Building Supply is looking for a leader to build a hard-working, smoothly operating Yard Team.
Working Lumber Yard Supervisor:
- Builds, trains & directs the yard team in the day to day activities of the lumber yard by working hand in hand with his/her team.
- Take responsibility for the performance and production of the lumber yard.
- Works with Contractor Sales to ensure deliveries are accurate, timely & efficient.
- Creates and implements a safety training schedules for his/her Yard Team.
- Oversees the routine maintenance of the AL&M vehicles, products & property.
- Suggests improvements to the structure and layout of the yard for efficiency purposes
