Hours and Benefits for the Director of Finance : $100,000 - $120,000
5 Days on-site
4 Weeks Paid Time Off, plus 11 paid Holidays, 3 Personal Days and Sick Leave with buy back option
403(B) Plan with employer contribution of 50% of the employee’s contribution up to 6% of the employee’s annual base salary
Medical, Dental and Vision insurance
Responsibilities for the Director of Finance : Maintain the general ledger in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including oversee all aspects of fiscal policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
Manage the monthly closing and reporting process
Supervise payroll, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing processes
Serve as a member of the agency executive team and support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in carrying out all fiscal responsibilities
Requirements for the Director of Finance : 10 years of experience in accounting and / or finance 3 years of supervisory experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting OR a related field with work experience MBA or CPA a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; with advanced Excel knowledge, and general ledger systems (FundEz preferred)
Knowledge of NYS agency financial reporting requirements and produces a plus OCFS, OPWDD, SED, OMH and / or DOH
