Overview:
The Chief Perioperative Nursing Officer will assume a key leadership position within the Perioperative division. This leader will coordinate and articulate the objectives, policies, and procedures of Albany Medical Center, the Nursing Service, and Perioperative nursing into effective action.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote positive patient outcomes
- Contribute to the effective management of the operating room
- Provide clinical support to staff
- Participate in performance and quality initiatives
- Monitor and enforce practice standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of operating room experience
- Previous management/supervisory experience preferred
