What You’ll Do:
As our Chief Dental Officer, you’ll be the driving force behind our dental services. Your leadership will shape the future of dental care in our health center, ensuring patients receive the best care possible. Here’s a glimpse of your key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the dental department to ensure top-notch care, adhering to FQHC standards and regulations.
- Create and implement protocols, policies, and best practices to enhance both patient care and operational efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of talented dental professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, ensuring satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- Lead community outreach and education efforts to increase dental care access.
What You Bring:
- Education & Experience: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school, with at least 5 years of practice experience (including leadership or supervisory roles).
- Licensure: Licensed to practice dentistry in New York State.
- Experience with Underserved Populations: Experience in an FQHC or a passion for serving underserved communities.
- Skills & Leadership: Strong knowledge of dental regulations, quality assurance, and a collaborative leadership style that fosters teamwork across disciplines.
