Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse Supervisor in the Endocrinology department, where you will play a crucial role in coordinating clinical activities to ensure seamless operations. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining clinical standards, ensuring patient satisfaction, and fostering a collaborative environment with physicians and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess patient feedback to enhance satisfaction while safeguarding the interests of the Division and Department.
- Investigate and resolve patient complaints in collaboration with the Practice Coordinator and Nurse Manager.
- Train and support staff on policies and clinical practices to maximize patient care quality.
- Monitor workflow to optimize efficiency and provide necessary training or adjustments.
- Manage clinical-related reports and address identified clinical issues promptly.
- Evaluate staff performance regularly, recommending areas for improvement and facilitating appropriate training.
- Directly supervise clinical support staff, ensuring your presence for guidance and support during business hours and availability after hours.
- Coordinate daily tasks among clinical staff and ensure timely task completion.
- Ensure staff are well-informed about institutional resources, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain open communication with staff through scheduled meetings and documentation.
- Oversee the functionality of medical equipment, addressing any failures promptly.
- Collaborate with division physicians and administrative staff to comply with regulatory authorities, including The Joint Commission.
- Participate in Environment of Care Surveys with the Practice Manager.
- Keep OSHA and SDS compliance manuals updated.
- Manage inventory and supply orders within budgetary limits.
- Maintain essential tracking logs for clinical operations.
- Support clinical needs as required, including patient triage, medication administration, and assisting providers.
