Pediatric Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Job Description
As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in our pediatric gastroenterology department, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The APRN will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with attending physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and review of diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, based on patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with attending physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the attending physician.
- Perform minor surgical procedures as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited APRN program.
- Current licensure as an APRN.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
