Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt paving equipment. This position operates paving equipment used to spread and level hot mix paving material.

Requirements:

• Operates the paving equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Performs daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Inspects, cleans, maintains, and repairs equipment, as needed
• Must work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goals.
• May operate trucks to transport equipment to and from production sites as required.
• May operate additional equipment used as needed.
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Is dependable and accountable for actions.
• Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to work independently and prioritize work.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and helps ensure company's compliance.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule during paving season.

Qualifications:

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must have previous experience -1 year (Preferred)

Compensation based on experience & capabilities

License:

• Class A CDL (Preferred)

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
