Trimble-Batjer, an Alera Group Company, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join one of our top producing Property & Casualty teams in San Antonio, TX.

As an Account Manager, the focus of this position is to service a commercial lines book of business.
This office has a 37.5 hour work week, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule as agreed upon with your manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate expirations with producers and maintain an expiration control log
- Request bids from carriers, verify bid specifications, and assist in marketing new and renewal business
- Make recommendations to producers on quotes, premiums, and issues needing attention
- Check policies for accuracy, process invoices, endorsements, and finance agreements
- Send policies to processors to handle endorsements, policies, and changes
- Prepare and distribute proofs of insurance while handling client and carrier communications
- Maintain documentation, electronic files, and a suspense system for follow-ups
- Follow agency E&O guidelines and perform special projects as requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum two years experience in similar position
- Must be licensed per state requirements
- Previous experience with Applied Epic is preferred
- Must be a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good communication skills both verbal and written
- Should have thorough understanding of commercial lines underwriting and coverages
- Working knowledge of Windows based computer, Office and Adobe Suites
