Contract Provider Network Liaison (HYBRID POSITION)

Job Title: Provider Network Liaison
Location: Hybrid after initial two weeks of training, then 3 days remote and 2 days in Bronx, Office (Wednesday and Fridays in office).
Position Type: Contract (Open-ended duration)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation: $23 per hour

Your Role and Impact
As a Provider Network Liaison, you’ll serve as the vital connection between healthcare providers and our organization. Your dedication will ensure the efficient exchange of essential patient information, making a meaningful impact on patient care.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage Providers: Build relationships with physician offices, clinics, and medical facilities to facilitate medical record retrieval.
• Coordinate Records Retrieval: Communicate with providers to schedule visits, request documentation, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure Accuracy: Review medical records for completeness and address discrepancies promptly.
• Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and other laws governing medical record handling.
• Build Relationships: Foster strong professional connections with healthcare providers and office staff for smooth collaboration.
• Problem-Solve: Address challenges in the records retrieval process with creativity and persistence.
• Report Progress: Provide management with updates on retrieval activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.

What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:

• Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in medical records retrieval, healthcare coordination, or a similar role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to patient privacy and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site visits to physician offices.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Candidates need to be local to New York City
