The Lead Teller plays a crucial role in ensuring the daily operations of the branch teller line are efficient and effective. This individual is relied upon to resolve escalated issues with clients and staff. As a leader by example, they perform a 'Player/Coach' role, providing guidance and training for the teller line staff, promoting new or expanded relationships for the company through exceptional client relations, and referring clients to appropriate advisors for new products and service solutions. They complete work with high accuracy, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal regulations, and are responsible for security and audit items under the location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and develop teller staff to meet or exceed standards.
- Support staff by approving transactions as needed and assisting with balancing issues and verifications of cash discrepancies.
- Evaluate adherence to teller line functions' policies and procedures and continuously work to improve operations.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual audits of cash tills, prepaid cards, instant issue cards, and security alarms to ensure regulatory and policy/procedure compliance.
- Provide clients with the highest level of service and perform advanced transactions.
- Resolve client complaints and discern when to escalate.
