The coordinator will be responsible for both direct oversight and supervision of campers, as well as program design and development.

Position Summary

The coordinator will be responsible for both direct oversight and supervision of campers, as well as program design and development.
Essential Functions
- Design & develop the CIT and LIT programs working with the Day Camp Coordinator and Camp Director
- Plan, lead and participate in all weekly LIT field trips, working within budget
- Coordinate CIT and LIT mentoring assignments
- Conduct leadership and professional development trainings weekly
- Coordinate certification opportunities to CITs
- Complete necessary paperwork and safety checks for all field trips
- Work alongside the LIT Sr. Counselor to facilitate the daily programming
- Coach and correct behaviors of the young leaders
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- First-Aid/CPR certification or ability to become certified
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with middle-school and high-school age youth
- Youth Behavioral management

Salary Description
