WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Coordinator who will provide support to the Site Management Team on all aspects relating to Health & Safety management. The role is also responsible for supporting the activities of the Business Operations Manager, in the wider group business context in relation to solid fuel streams.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
- A good knowledge of MS office applications and ability to adapt to bespoke H&S systems.
- UK Driving Licence.
- High degree of accuracy in work.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
Required Competencies
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Independent planning and time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Must possess a proactive, positive attitude towards improving health & safety standards and developing a positive health and safety culture.
Required Work Experience
- Background experience of health & safety in a laboratory or similar environment is desirable.
- ISO Certification experience is desirable.
- Accredited Management System experience.
- Internal ISO auditing experience.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- First Aid at Work qualified.
Travel
- There will be an expectation for regular travel to UK sites and scope for international travel as required.
