What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Project Manager position at ALG Senior?
The IT Project Manager will support the organization’s information technology department and be responsible for the planning, implementation, management and compliance of technical projects and systems. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify and define project requirements, develop project plans and timelines, manage project resources, and oversee project execution. Experience developing and providing project charters, status reports and deliverables on time and within budget will be essential.
This role will serve to assist in creating standardized policies and procedures as well as implementation of foundational IT support structure to include a help desk solution with tiered triage and escalation processes and inventory control solution for management of all hardware. In coordination with organizational initiatives and goals, this role will manage IT projects related to new construction and renovation needs, support transition from 3rd party outsourcing to in-house infrastructure, and spearhead recommendations to streamline processes and communication.
Serving as a pivotal point person on the team, the IT Project Manager will convey a strong skillset for the following:
- Lead projects with ownership and accountability
- Deliver organized and concise processes and methodologies that lead to successful outcomes
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple team members, vendors, and consultants
- Identify budgets, resources, and risks, and anticipate contingency plans
- Detailed documentation and use of project management system
Education and Experience:
- At least four years related IT Project Management experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or combination of technical training and
- Healthcare IT experience preferred (including HIPAA).
Physical Requirements (Standard):
Light work – Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
