Position: Sr. Manager I
Overview: Our Sr. Manager I will collaborate with the GM and various departments, primarily focusing on Team Member Excellence and consistent attention to detail. This role encompasses all aspects of the restaurant, including driving sales and revenue, exceptional service execution, profitability, payroll, banquet sales, marketing, and effective performance management through hiring, training, and development.
Your Role with Us:
Payroll/Invoice Duties:
- Validate punch reports; oversee timely completion of Time Edit forms and Early Release Forms; ensure daily accuracy of tips and their import/conversion; Submit all Termination and Pay Increase Paperwork promptly.
- Assist with invoice entry for beverages (Coffee, N/A Beverage, Beer, Liquor, Wine); Enter invoices for Security and Cleaning Companies.
- Weekly identification and paperwork submission for Active/Inactive Unpaid Staff members.
Assist the GM with:
- Floor Manager development and training them in best practices for zone management.
- Helping Floor Managers identify and address potential issues.
- Conducting check-ins with the Management Team.
- Creating Manager Schedule for GM review; Overseeing hourly department schedules.
- Open Table: Ensure the books are open, up-to-date, and released 3 days out.
- Provide training to Managers and Maitre D’s quarterly.
- Assist with reservations through our website.
· Assist the GM with interviews and final interviews for hourly team members.
- Support Department Heads with Training Schedules.
Hourly Team Performance:
- Oversee hourly staff performance regarding PPA, reviews, knowledge, attendance, etc.
- Compile and present trends or anomalies to the GM with recommendations for improvement.
- Encourage and support hourly team members to strengthen their performance.
We Are Looking for Candidates:
- With 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, preferably in high-volume casual or fine dining.
- With an entrepreneurial mindset.
- With strong computer skills and knowledge of Aloha, Open Table, Excel, Word, and timekeeping software.
- Who display a passion for service and exceeding guest needs.
- With excellent communication skills for interacting with management, servers, team members, and guests.
- With strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage at all levels.
- Who are reliable, dependable, and guest and employee focused.
- With flexibility to work various shifts.
Pay Rate: $85-95k, depending on location and experience.
