Founded in 2021, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) is a nonprofit, four-year MD program enhancing traditional medical education with the arts, humanities, and whole health principles. The School’s culture embraces self-care to empower students to care for their own well-being as well as their patients’. The School’s state-of-the-art medical education facility is under construction in Bentonville, Arkansas on the Crystal Bridges campus, home to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Heartland Whole Health Institute. The School has been granted preliminary accreditation status by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.

About The Position
The Alice L. Walton School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Senior Program Coordinator specializing in assessment and evaluation. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective implementation and management of assessment tools and processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions Specific to The Position:
- Assessment Coordination: Oversee the implementation and management of assessment tools such as ExamSoft and NBME CAS.
- Logistics Management: Manage logistics specific to administering assessments: room scheduling, logistics, proctors, and all aspects of test days.
- Collaboration: Work with faculty to develop and enhance assessment content and delivery methods.
- Evaluation: Assist in the data collection necessary for course evaluations.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports related to assessment and course activities.
- Professional Development: collaborate with faculty affairs office to offer professional development sessions for faculty.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in education, program coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience in curricular development, review, or implementation in higher education
- Participation in inter-disciplinary team endeavors
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in an academic or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with program evaluation and improvement processes.
- Experience with ExamSoft, NBME CAS, or One45
- Experience with basic evaluation and survey programs such as Excel, SPSS, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics.
