Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have substantial legal experience in debt finance, particularly within peer law firms. Exposure to private equity acquisition finance is advantageous, and familiarity with oil and gas transactions is highly desirable. Experience representing borrowers, lenders, or both is welcomed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on debt finance transactions.
- Advise clients on private equity acquisition finance matters.
- Engage in oil and gas-related financial transactions, leveraging industry-specific knowledge.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial documents and agreements.
- Collaborate effectively with partners and associates on multifaceted legal matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry developments.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the state bar.
- Demonstrated attorney experience in debt finance within a peer law firm. (AmLaw experience preferred, not required).
- Exposure to private equity acquisition finance and oil and gas transactions is highly desirable.
