Duties
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll.
- Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform account reconciliations related to payroll transactions.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and benefits.
- Utilize financial software such as Accounting CS Payroll for efficient payroll processing.
- Prepare reports on payroll metrics for management review.
- Assist in audits related to payroll and financial reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in payroll management or a similar role is required.
- Familiarity with accounting practices is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including debits and credits.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and prepare detailed reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
