What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at All About Behavior?
All About Behavior is a locally-based, family owned company since 2010 specializing in providing high quality Behavioral services to children with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
We have two openings for an Administrative Assistant with opportunity grow.
DUTIES include but not limited to:
- Answering incoming calls and provide accurate information
- Maintain daily communication with parents and staff
- Managing office organization and appearance of the center
- Re-stocking and ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate inventory
- Perform data entry and manage electronic folders effectively
- Assist with scanning, and other clerical duties as required
- Attending to children during nap, lunches, drop off and pick up as needed.
- Assist with cleaning and disinfecting of toys/books/learning areas to maintain a safe and health environment.
Admin 2 Specific
- Scheduling
- Problem solving daily operations
- Records & documentation review and maintenance
- Company Engagement (weekly/monthly events, activities, communication, etc)
- Supporting Office Manager & Client/Staff Records
- Assisting with light cleaning/restocking as needed
Basic requirements:
- AT least 1 year commitment. ONLY APPLY if you can fulfill this criterion.
- Must have reliable mode of transportation (Public transportation does not come to our location and ride share such as Uber is not reliable.)
- Pass a 10 year state and federal background check
- CPR certified or become CPR certified
- Yearly TB clearance
Characteristics:
- Display a high degree of judgment, discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Knowledge of office administration and clerical work. Knowledge of telephone etiquette and customer service.
- Communicate effectively, fairly and with respect
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team player, but able to work independently.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Organized and time efficient.
- Able to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Experience/Education:
1. Minimum High-school diploma or equivalent
2. At least one year of experience working in an office setting and or working around children. (Not required but a plus)
This is an employee position. Office hours are from 7:00 AM to 6:00PM. Administrative staff alternate between two shifts, 7:00AM - 3:30PM and 9:30AM - 6:00PM (30 minute non paid lunch), Monday through Friday. Monday through Friday availability required.
