Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Provide critical care support and monitor patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks.
- Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and occupational health standards.
- Participate in memory care programs and esthetic laser treatment procedures as needed.
- Stay updated on advancements in ophthalmology and critical care practices.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in critical care or occupational health is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques is advantageous.
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
- Knowledge of workers' compensation law is beneficial but not required.
- Experience in memory care or esthetic laser treatment is desirable.
