ESCROW TITLE PROCESSOR

Escrow Processor Responsibilities:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly detailed, and deadline-oriented environment.
· Ability to read a real estate contract and identify all parties within a real estate transaction: buyers, sellers, listing agents, selling agents, lender etc.
· Establishes escrow account by opening and receipting all new escrow funds. Ability to manage escrow deposit timeline requirements and provide clear communication to all parties regarding initial escrow deposit, cash to close and wire instructions.
· Prepares “Payoff Requests”, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals.
· Ability to work with closing agent on all files to balance with lender for funding and closing transactions accurately.
· Closes escrow account by balancing and disbursing funds.
· Provides support, as needed, to the post-closing and warehousing staff.
· Will be responsible for the monthly remit to the underwriter.
· Will assist with monthly accounts payable items and office inventory as needed.
· Will assist in entering new orders and resolving title defects.
· Will provide quality customer service while answering client phone calls.
· The Escrow Title Processor will perform customer service and clerical functions to assist all parties involved in the escrow process.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 1-year experience within a title agency is desired, but others may be considered based on work experience. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry is highly desired.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in written forms of communication. Must be able to accurately proofread completed work.
· Complies with company policy by adhering to requirements, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.
· Must possess strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
· Maintains professional level of confidentiality following all regulatory guidelines and requirements.
· Ability to work independently and with team members.
· Must possess the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow-through and follow departmental procedures.
· Computer requirements: Accuracy and efficiency in Keyboarding and data entry.
· Software: Office 365 required; Qualia and Quickbooks experience desired, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
