We are looking for a floor team lead to stock, merchandise, and help with other tasks as needed.
Job Responsibilities
· Replenish products on the shelf, rotating products and ensuring code dating procedures are followed and only the freshest products are available for sale.
· Set up displays on the sales floor.
· Put misplaced items back in the proper locations.
· Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
· Actively participate in, and promote, an environment which embraces diversity, inclusion and respect for Team Members, customers, vendors, and the community.
· Maintain proper shelf conditions, to include ordering and monitoring inventory levels, controlling the level of damaged goods.
· Maintain safe and clean sales floor area, to include sweeping, mopping, clearing floors of pallets, cardboard, and debris.
· Observe all policies and procedures established for the department.
· Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
· Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail
· Customer Service and cash handling
· Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous grocery experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and bending
You must be at least 18 years of age and not enrolled in high school to be considered for this position.
