Job Overview
The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor has the overall responsibility of coordinating the daily activities associated with Logistics in the warehouse storage area. This includes the operations of the Materials Handling Cell that consist of 10 -12 direct labor employees and all processes related to these activities. The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor is a critical member within the Materials Group who provides daily planning and operational tactics that are essential to Best In Class Customer Service, Inventory Performance and Inventory Accuracy metrics.
The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor reports to the Manager – Supply Chain Materials under the Supply Chain Materials Dept.
Customer Service – On Time Delivery to Customer Request Dates / NPD Launch Dates
1. Timely and accurate WIP replenishment of components from Raw Material Storage to Assembly and Lid Line Departments
2. Timely and Accurate Receiving and Shipping activities including transactions
3. Assist with all Policies and Procedures related to the above activities
Inventory Performance/Control/Accuracy - Inventory DOS/Inventory Quality/Non-Conformance Management
1. Logistics Coordination and Quality adherence with Transportation Suppliers
2. Dock Coordination on incoming and outgoing Material Handling, Transactions and Cycle Counts
3. Accurate and Efficient storage of materials within the Raw Material Storage Location (incl. Trailers and Non-Conform)
4. Resource Management of Material Handling Work Cell Employees including Training
5. Collaborative efforts with all Plant Supervisors to assure open communication
6. Enforces all Safety Programs related to Material Handling / Inventory Control
7. Provides backup to Materials Management Supervisor
8. Responsible for shipping and receiving transactions of approximately $75M inventory
9. Responsible for maintaining manual location accuracy of approx. $5M inventory10. Support production of approximately 1.7M pcs of Cookware representing $50M in COGS.
Assist with all Policies and Procedures related to the above activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse management and supervision
- Strong team management skills with a focus on process improvement
- Proficient in inventory management and control within a distribution center
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Experience with logistics and e-commerce operations
- Competence in using warehouse management systems

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
