United States Citizenship Required This is NOT a remote position NO STAFFING AGENCIES*DESCRIPTION OF POSITION : *United States Citizenship Required*The ideal candidate will be expected to : Perform annual wall-to-wall inventories of government property at the NASA Johnson Space Center, therefore requiring a good deal of walking.
Support government property processes. Enhance product work-flow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
Have knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within government property. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Perform a variety of various tasks. Work under general supervision. Candidate must also undergo a background investigation in order to obtain their JSC badge.
This is an entry level, hourly, inventory / warehouse support role.Work onsite JSC 5 days a week. No telework available.
United States Citizenship Required*EDUCATION : Associate degree or equivalent in area of specialty, or normally possess greater than 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 2 Years SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS : United States Citizenship RequiredStrong writing and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to work independently and follow work processes.Knowledge of government property regulations is highly desired.Knowledge of SAP is also desired.
