What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Administrative Assistant position at All's Well?
Great opportunity to work for a mental health developmental office as an Administrative Assistant. It would be required to speak, read and write Spanish and English. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional service to the patients and families we serve, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong familiarity with medical or specifically behavioral health, and effectively be able to communicate in effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage patient scheduling and appointments efficiently using electronic health record systems.
Greet patients upon arrival and assist them with the check-in process, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information about services and addressing patient concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records, including filing documents and updating information as necessary.
Process insurance claims, including Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance providers, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with dental office staff to facilitate smooth operations within the clinic.
Assist in managing billing inquiries and payment processing for services rendered.
Support the administrative team with various tasks as needed to enhance overall clinic efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
Experience with patient service roles that emphasize customer care and communication skills.
