Title: Associate Teacher
Reports to: Division Head

All Saints Day School seeks energetic and proactive team players of great initiative to serve as Associate Teachers. The Associate Teacher is responsible for supervising students, assisting lead teachers with lesson planning and delivery, preparing lesson materials, and maintaining general classroom tidiness. Each educator at All Saints is responsible for creating a classroom community for students, working to understand each child from multiple perspectives and using an integrated and interactive approach to learning. All Saints faculty build meaningful bonds with students, maintain high standards, teach children to engage in respectful and kind behavior and promote a love of learning.
This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position. Opportunities for part-time may be available.
The anticipated salary range the school reasonably expects to pay Associate Teachers is $40,000 to $65,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, or additional teaching duties which may be assigned.

Primary responsibilities:
- Support lead homeroom teacher(s) in their lesson planning and delivery.
- Help prepare materials for lessons, bulletin boards, parent conferences, and other activities.
- Work with students individually or in small groups for extension or remediation activities.
- Assist classroom teachers in administering and documenting grade level assessments.
- Support the implementation of the accommodations outlined in students’ Learning Plans.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences as requested by supervisor or homeroom teacher(s).
- Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, the playground, and on field trips.
- Help prepare classrooms during faculty work week prior to the opening of school.
- Assist in completing all of the year-end responsibilities before leaving for summer vacation.
- Serve as a substitute teacher in the absence of the lead homeroom teacher, upon request.

- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, openness to others’ ideas, and an eagerness to extend oneself for others
- Communicate, implement, and enforce All Saints Day School operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the students
- Be a positive and contributing member of the professional community
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Head of School
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred (or experience as a co-teacher or associate teacher in a classroom setting)
- Bachelor's degree; teaching credential or advanced degree preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with parents, students, and staff
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
