Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the needs of all children, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that may occur during the school day.
- Provide first aid as necessary and ensure the health and safety of all students in your care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices is essential.
- Skills in behavior management, caregiving, infant care, and classroom management are beneficial.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
