Member Service Representative/Loan Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist members with inquiries regarding account services, loan applications, and other banking products.
• Process loan applications efficiently while adhering to TILA and Fair Housing regulations.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and member accounts.
• Perform underwriting tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with FNMA guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of member interactions and transactions using 10 key typing skills.
• Collaborate with loan officers to streamline the loan processing experience for members.
• Provide support in resolving member issues promptly and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with loan processing, underwriting, and related regulations is highly desirable.
• Strong basic math skills are essential for this role.
• Proficiency in 10 key typing is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to interact effectively with members.
