Member Service Representative
A full-time position with a 401 K, Dental, Life, Medical, and Vision benefits package.
About the Role:
The Member Service position will be responsible for serving our members daily by opening new accounts, processing transactions, cross-selling our products and services, and resolving technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the current and evolving products and services
- Properly identify members or potential members and document and update member records based on interactions
- Cross-sell products and services by providing information about the product
- Accurately perform teller and member service transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, shared certificates, opening & closing accounts, IRA's, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems and/or technical issues and concerns
- Handle all member inquiries and complaints in person, by phone, or electronic access
- Travel to other branch locations, as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, banking, or cash handling experience of 2-5 years
- Ability to build rapport with our members
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to perform work accurately in accordance with policies and procedures
