GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This role assists the Director in the overall planning, management, and evaluation of the program including faculty, curriculum development, and implementation. Acts as an advocate for the student and faculty to ensure the program meets its strategic outcomes and maintains a high-quality learning environment. Assists in recruitment, orientation and development of nursing faculty.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum and program. (30%)
- Assists in facilitating and coordinating activities related to academic policies, student policies, curriculum, resources, facilities, services, and program evaluation. (30%)
- Oversees the assignment of faculty, classroom, and clinical learning, including faculty workload. (30%)
- Oversees the onboarding, development, and evaluation of faculty. (10%) Other duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Master's Degree
- Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
- 5 years teaching experience
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Preferred
Experience in nursing practice and educational administration.SKILLS:
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to excellence in nursing education and student success
