Job Title: Estimator

Compensation Range: $110K–$150K
We are seeking a seasoned Estimator to join our team in Bayshore, NY, focusing on public works projects within the civil and heavy highway sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure developments and contribute to the growth of essential public services.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil and heavy highway projects, ensuring compliance with all public sector requirements.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and proposals to identify labor, material, and time requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
- Manage bid proposals and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for pricing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the public works sector, with a focus on civil and heavy highway projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry practices, local regulations, and public sector project requirements.
- Proficiency in estimating software and strong skills in Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
