Allegiance Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Receivable professional to ensure the daily maintenance and control of accounts receivable / payable transactions. The ideal candidate will manage receivables, reporting / tracking, invoicing, filing, correspondence, documentation requests, and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage receivables, reporting / tracking, invoicing, filing, correspondence, documentation requests, and general administrative duties.
  • Ensure proper approval, validate account coding, and reject duplicate invoices before entering accounts payable data.
  • Maintain communications with vendors regarding payment of invoices.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of funds.
  • Research vendor statements, phone calls, and discrepancies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable / receivable status.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual audits.
  • Maintain accurate historical records.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of clerical experience, with at least 3 years involving multi-phone systems and customer service.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to develop systems and processes.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain logical follow-through on all projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet department and company goals and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be alert to safety conditions and able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

  • Salary : $50K – $60K / yr
  • Direct Hire position
  • Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
