What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant position at Allergy Partners?
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Assistant to join our team at Allergy Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients, taking vital signs, and preparing exam rooms. You will also perform spirometry breathing tests, allergy prick testing, and intradermal testing as ordered by the physician.
In addition to these clinical responsibilities, you will assist with administrative duties such as prior authorizations, medication refills, and inventory management. Your excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task will be essential in this role.
To be successful in this position, you should have strong computer skills, experience with EMR systems, and medical assistant training including patient intake and vital signs. Certification or registration is strongly preferred, and at least one year of clinical assisting experience is ideal.
This is a full-time 36-40 hour per week position with a four-day workweek and no weekends. You will enjoy a pleasant work environment, good work-life balance, and flexible scheduling.
