Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create compelling content across various social media channels. The Ideal candidate will have a firm grasp on our industry and where its trending while also incorporating our business goals and direction into the content.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement, responding promptly to inquiries and comments.
- Conduct research to identify target audiences and tailor content accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing to produce high-quality visual content.
- Proofread all content for accuracy and adherence to brand voice before publication.
- Analyze performance metrics of social media campaigns and adjust strategies based on data insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and public relations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms for brands or organizations.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and strategies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is highly desirable.
- Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with photography techniques to enhance visual storytelling is a plus.
- Ability to conduct thorough research to inform content creation and audience targeting.
- Experience in public relations or crisis management is beneficial.
- Strong video editing skills are preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for staying current with social media trends and innovations.
