We are currently hiring a Client Service Coordinator to join our Medical Supply team at our corporate office in Eagan, MN. The qualified candidate will handle many aspects of client support, including intake, customer service, medical supply inventory and ordering, eligibility verification, and other medical supply related administrative functions. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Handle calls, distribute and document information appropriately
- New client intake, eligibility, admission agreement & initiate physician orders
- Coordinate incoming orders for supplies & equipment and document accordingly
- Process orders from drop ship vendors, warehouse, or websites
- Communicate with referral sources on an ongoing basis to ensure correct order entry and pricing for alternative funding sources
- File billing and clinical documentation
- Initiate monthly calls to clients for reorders
- Confirm insurance eligibility for orders/reorders
- Confirm coverage & validate physician orders for orders/reorders
- Track and save Proof of Deliveries on orders
- Obtain new physician orders monthly
- Maintenance of electronic call book
- Manage AMS orders email account
- Coordinates other customer service responsibilities with other staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas (not all are required):
- Durable Medical Equipment
- Brightree software system
- Working with insurance companies and/or verification of insurance eligibility
- Customer Service in health care and/or medical supply setting
- Document management
Candidates must be:
- Highly and demonstratively organized
- Self-managed and motivated to work with little supervision
- Strongly skilled with computer use
- Strongly skilled in multi-tasking
- Skilled in written and verbal communication skills with attention to spelling, grammar, thoroughness, and professional expression
- At least eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma, at minimum
- Upbeat and engaging in communication style with a positive personality/team player attitude
- Ability to Pass a DHS Background Check
