Position Summary :
Alliance Health Group is seeking a highly experienced Staffing Coordinator / Director for Long Term Care to join our team. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing and guiding Staffing Coordinators across multiple nursing homes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in staffing management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for supporting long-term care operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to Staffing Coordinators across multiple nursing home facilities.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for all departments by managing schedules, employee assignments, and adjustments based on patient care needs.
- Develop and implement staffing policies and procedures in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain staffing metrics, reporting on trends, and addressing any gaps or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with management teams to forecast staffing needs based on facility occupancy, acuity levels, and seasonal fluctuations.
- Resolve staffing-related issues, including staffing shortages, shift changes, and conflicts.
- Work closely with HR and facility leadership to ensure compliance with employment laws, licensing regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new Staffing Coordinators and nursing staff as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve staffing processes.
