Alliance OB/GYN specializes in obstetrics, gynecology, pregnancy planning, infertility, and minimally invasive surgery, and it offers same-day appointments and a 24-hour answering service.

Overview: The Alliance ObGyn Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of an Obstetrics and Gynecology (ObGyn) private practice. This role requires a combination of managerial, organizational, and interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight: Manage and supervise the daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, medical records, and front desk operations.
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate and facilitate communication between healthcare providers, staff, and patients.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage the practice's financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.
Collaborate with billing and coding specialists to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.

Human Resources: Recruit, hire, and train administrative staff, including receptionists, billing specialists, and administrative assistants.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and professional development for staff.
Address personnel issues, and conflicts, and ensure a positive and collaborative work environment.

Patient Relations: Oversee the development and implementation of patient relations policies to enhance patient satisfaction.
Address patient concerns and complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
Implement and maintain patient education programs as needed.

Technology Integration: Stay current with healthcare technology trends and implement relevant systems to enhance efficiency and patient care.
Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure the security and functionality of electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Monitor and analyze patient satisfaction surveys and implement improvements based on feedback.

Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Foster effective communication and collaboration among healthcare providers within the practice.
Coordinate meetings, facilitate communication, and address any operational challenges.

Marketing and Growth: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and promote the practice.
Identify opportunities for practice growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in healthcare management, preferably in an ObGyn setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and billing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. (ModMed, AdvancedMD, Epic, DIgiChart)
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and staff.
